Does anyone know anything about ScubaPro's G10 first stage. I'm looking to buy a used one, I'm sure it is an older model, but is it balanced and how easy is it to breathe?

Thanks for any info.

I believe you mean the Mk10....

10 years ago, it was scubapros workhorse - it, and the upgraded mk10 plus were what the mk20/25 are today. High performance balanced piston that was paired with the G250 for scubapro's top of the line system. A bit simpler than the mk20 but reported to have almost equal in performance. Should be good for for any application you chose.

I was told by the owner it was a G10, but they probably mixed up the G250 with the MK10 and put the two together. LOL

It was on EBay. I got busy and missed the end of the auction. Oh well! :)

Hi there got4boyz

I have a MK10+/G250 that I got new some years ago. It's a very good combination.

I haven't used mine in a few years since I got my MK20/S600. How much did the MK10/G250 on EBay go for?

selling a MK10 + G200 + R190 + SPG/Depth console and I managed to grab it right around $200.

It has gotten here and is in great shape. Probably hasn't been used in a while, but it looks to be nearly brand new, IP is fine with no creep, cracking pressures are good, breathes well. No discoloration on the inlet filter. He claimed that it had only one vacation's worth of dives on it, and I believe him from the condition that it arrived in.

I expected to have to overhaul it, but nope - its diveable right out of the box.

He says he's got another one - I only needed the one - if someone's interested I'll give you his email - just shoot me a PM.
