Ocean Obsessed, DO NOT whatever you do stay at Bluebeard's Castle. It was hands down the WORST experience I have ever had in the carribean. Rude staff, run down moldy rooms, elevators and ice machines not working. For the only time in my life I complained to Interval International who had done the exchange. After viewing the pictures and hearing our story, II gave us our week back. When we met the new incoming manager on the night before our last and told him our various stories, he asked us to write a letter of complaint naming names as it is almost impossible for him to fire people without several complaints. It went from the front desk staff to the restaurants. For example when we arrived there at 7:30 pm, we were kept waiting for over 20 minutes while the only person on duty discussed her boyfriend on the phone, when we finally got into our room, we went down to dinner at one of the restaurants at the resort. We ask for a table for 2, only to be told "we dont accept walk ins" now it's Thursday night at 8:30 and not a person in the restaurant. We make a reservation for the next night. When we arrive the restaurant is one again empty. We are shown to the table right in front of the door to the kitchen. We ask for a table in the front of the windows, only to be told 'those are reserved'. Hello? I have a reservation and I'm the only one in the room. He was so blatently looking for $. I could go on and on. Save yourself and stay anywhere else!
She'll have 1 day to do some sight seeing. Any recommendations for hotels and/or sight seeing would be appreciated.
