I am looking for housing for the sony hdr-xr500v cam. I don't want to spend 3000-4000 dollars on it. what housing can I use to go down to 60 or 100 feet.

There is a guy on ebay and youtube that makes the nemo 200 housing for cams. Has anyone used it or know if it is any good?

Some options in the sub-$1000 market:

Nemo - link is to his website
Aquatix
Atmo-Seal
Shellicam

all of the above have limited/no camera control.

A few full-control options for around $1000-1500 out the door:

Equinox - $949 + options
Ikelite - $1300
Ocean Images - 1345 + options

hth, I have no personal experience with any of these - I shoot an Amphibico EVO.
