hi all
i'm having a bit of trouble removing my alternate air source on my knighthawk.
i'm trying to install a standard power inflator.
i've removed the zip tie connection and tried rolling the rubber off the quick disconnect that is installed but to no avail.
am i missing a step?
i see the pull dump attachment by looking down the quick disconnect but am unsure of how to remove it

any help would be much appreciated.
thanks in advance

What? Do I post like this?

You've cut the zip tie from the end of the corrugated hose that attaches to the alt air. Pull the hose up and away from the alt air and you should see a metal pin that goes through that end of the alt air. Push the pin through until the plastic bar that connects the alt air to the shoulder dump (running through the corrugated hose) comes free. That should do it.

That cable runs up the middle of the corrugated hose and is what activates the pull dump in the shoulder goose-neck. There are those who do not like such pull dumps, if you are amongst them you may be able to take that gooseneck off and replace it with a standard one with no pull dump cable.

ahhh.... that did it!
much appreciated guys :thumbs-up
