A group of 7 divers will be in Destin the weekend of 17th-19th of September. We are doing some boat diving on Sunday but need recommendations for diving on Saturday and Monday....Have heard mixed things about the Jetties but have heard that Morrison was a good dive. We need advice on some easy fun diving

Here is the kicker. We are a group of Vintage Equipment Divers. Double Hose Regulators, Duckfeet fins, bare essentials of diving. All of us are very experieced to say the least. We are looking for some advice from the folks on the scene! Please check out or photos from our recent dives and give me and E-mail or a post on what you would recommend for us.

Thank You

The jetties are a long walk - if you're OK with the walk it's a great shore dive. Be sure to dive at high tide to improve your chances with viz and current. Saturday the high tide is in the morning, Monday it's at night.

Morrison is also an excellent place to dive - it does get flooded with tannic water so you will be taking your chances with going there as well.

Vortex spring is always clearer than any of the others around here - it has a pumping system.

Cypress spring can be gotten to by canoe and you can only stay in the water - all land around the spring is private. It is by far the most beautiful spring in the area.
