Need Divers for the U-701 on 9-30-07

Hi All:

We need 6 or more divers for trip to the U-701 on Sunday, September 23, departing early morning from Wanchese Harbor in the Outer Banks. The dive is being ran by the Outer Banks Dive Center in Nags Head on their boat, the "Go Between." Contact phone is (252) 449-8349. Ask for Issac.

The U-701 (click here for history and pictures) lies in about 110 FT of water depending on the shoals. I don't know how covered it is this year, or if any charters have made a dive on her this summer due to our touchy weather. This is the only dive to the U-701 OBDC will be making this season.

OBDC allows deco/technical dives with proof of experience and/or certifications. Call them for the plan you want to run.

The Go-Between was a good boat to dive off of when I was down there... I had a great time (despite seasickness and exhaustion).
