hi everybody,
first, i'm verry pleased to be part of this board and find it verry instructive for a beginner like me. and please don't pay to much attention to my poor english. i'll do my best to be as clear as i can!
ok, right now i'm looking to buy my first dive gear. i already have my wetsuit(7mm bare cuz i'll be diving cold water mainly) i know about drysuits, but for now it's not an option. i look for used gear essentially (besides my wet that is brand new) cuz i dont have the budget to buy new. i have a kit that i have my eyes on that would be ok for me (complete sherwood blizzard reg that has only 5 dive on it, looks like new) but i have some hesitations on the bc. it's a dacor enduro that is also in perfect condition. thats the kind of bc that i am looking for (good ,simple, affortable) but i know about the "hard to find parts" trouble about dacor regs. is this trouble the same with dacor bcs?
thanks for your advices

The Blizzard is a good cold water reg, my LDS sells a fair bit of them. The BC, if its excellent shape and in your price range, go for it. Even if you use it for a couple of years and get a new one. Talk to you LDS and see if they're able to get parts for it too. That might help you out.
