I bought my wife an Ikelite housing for an Olympus 1050 SW and it produced decent pictures paired with the Auto 35 flash system. I also free dive and the rig (with tray+flash) is relatively small and neutrally buoyant and was a breeze to snap pictures while free diving. It's not nearly as fast as some of the better Canon P&S's, though. I played with an SD960is and it is very fast to acquire focus and fire. I'm tempted to go with that rig and give her my spare DS50 + a new EV controller. Even at 30 feet, you are going to be much happier with a flash. If cost is no object then the new Fisheye for the G10 is an awesome (and very small) setup. One free diver that I met on our last trip swore by this setup.

thanks for the tips.
