I need a dependable light. This will be my first dive light and I want one that will fit my needs for rec. diving but I don't have alot of money. Can anyone help a brother out?

Regards,

Clark:confused:

Halcyon makes very good underwater flashlights, which are used as backups by many accomplished deco divers. I would get one of these, now, first.

Among the best lights ($900 each) are Sartek (www.sartek.com). Save up your nickels and dimes, in the meantime.

All prices already have your 10% Scubaboard discount factored in and no taxes if you don't live in Texas. Larry only charges actual shipping costs as well so they usually very low.

If you're only going to get a primary light, I'd get this: the Princeton Tec LED it's $99 before shipping, awesome light . http://www.scubatoys.com/store/detail.asp?PRODUCT_ID=ShockwaveLED

If you want a primary and a backup light, I'd get these:
Princeton Tec Miniwave LED
http://www.scubatoys.com/store/detail.asp?PRODUCT_ID=MiniWaveLed - $81
http://www.scubatoys.com/store/detail.asp?PRODUCT_ID=UKSL4 - $18

edit: Just realized you live in Canada so I hope you meant USD $100.
