Need a homemade fix for now?

I own the epl1 housing and it seems that I might of worn out the rubber wheel that controls the mode choices.

I have been able to use some velcro to get it to work half the time. Olympus is looking for the part. Does anyone have any other ideas to help control the mode wheel ?

I got it when it first came out that month. I dont remember I think 8/10
