Could someone give the distance around an aluminum 80 please? Need to compare it with steel 72.

Thanks.

rookers:
C= 3.1415926*7.25

In inches.

7.25 inches around??

Circumference=pi*(2*radius)=pi*(diameter)...NO, if the diameter is 7.25 inches, then the circumference is 22.78 inches (assuming the tank is a perfect cylinder of course).

Circumference = PI * Diameter

The diameter of an AL80 is 7.25 inches. A rough approximation of pi is 3.1415926, therefore circumference = 3.1415926 * 7.25

Thanks but I just needed someone to actually take out a tape measure and measure it. Don't really need any tech info. thanks.

It's not tech info. It's a formula that can also help you in the future, to find the circumferance of anything. PI R Square.

pi r square is actually the area formula, pi d is the circumference.
