I'm putting my 17 footer in the water in the morning (Saturday at 8am) in Santa Barbara Harbor. I plan on heading up the coast a bit to dive a "boat only" spot I know depending upon weather. I usually bring my spear gun and "usually" do two dives--two tanks. Yes, I'm a hunter gatherer kind of guy. This is very short notice, but my plans fell apart at the last moment.

I might add, I’m not looking for any money or help washing the boat. It is just incredibly easier to launch the boat, retrieve the boat, anchor and pull the anchor with a second set of hands!

I would be very appreciative for the company! It will be fun if any of you can make it!

I guess i'm too late but if you're still looking for something this weekened I can do sunday or even monday.

And feel free to PM me in the future if you need a buddy for something, I'm in the SB area and am always looking for someone to buddy up with.

I'm in the SB area too! But that doesn't do much good now, eh?

Natew & JoyDivision: Thanks for the replies. I ended up going fishing...couldn't find a buddy with such short notice. But it is great to learn you are up for some diving in the future. In any case, it probably ended up being a good day to not dive after all. The viz looked murkey green and horrible in the morning. As the day wore on, the viz appeared to improve--remembering I am looking from my boat fishing, not under the kelp with my air tank. Again, thanks for the replies. I'll reach out when I get a chance to hit the water again.
