Neck Seal on Whites Drysuit

Not sure if this is where this question belongs. I have a Whites Drysuit and the neck seal has to be replaced. Whites uses a heat welded type of replacement, I called the factory and they gave me intructions on how to apply the seal. I was just wondering if anyone has done it before and if so if you had any pointers? Thanks for any input
