I'm looking for dive locations from Daytona to North Jacksonville where myself and a few dive buddies can just do a beach walk-in dive. Not to deep. Somewhere we don't need to take a boat for. I can find alot of spots south of Orlando, especially along the Treasure Coast, but we don't really wanna drive that far. We've been hitting up the springs, and that's alot of fun, but we wanna get the suits wet with a little salt water. Any recommendations? Places you enjoy? Reefs? Sunken boats?

No vis,big sharks, cold water are not a fun mixture. That being said the North Jetties could be paddled to or canoed / kayaked to.
Alternatively, you can walk in the St.Marys for fossils.6 to 18 inch vis,1 to 2 kt current but doable.

Hmm... Not really looking canoe or kayak in anywhere. I may look into St. Mary's. It's just tough to find someplace around Jax to St. Augustine. Seems like all the best places are south. From the Treasure Coast to the Keys. Guess I'm just gonna have to do more research.
