I'm working on a project called the Verification of Undersea Life Variety and Abundance that may take me up the NC coast late next summer. I may need help. The project definatey needs a catchier name.

What kind of help are you looking for? How about telling us a little more about your future project. We might be able to extend a helping hand, and certainly a more original title. Sounds to me like you just want to come out and look at the pretty marine life.

Hey, I got a name for it.... call it "vacation".
All joking aside, as Mel said, I'm sure the NC folks would be more than happy to assist in any way possible (I know I would).
Keep us posted.

Jason, I think Kev is trying to pull our leg over here. I can't believe he would dare enter the NC forum trying to play games with us! ;) Like we wouldn't catch on to this prankster.

Maybe he will call it Vacation and dive the wrecks with us this summer!

Alright, he got me!
LOL!
Looking at the name "Verification of Undersea Life Variety and Abundance" I got to thinking of a Seinfeld episode where he couldn't remember some girls name that was suppose to rhyme with a female body part. I think he called her Mulva at one point. Of course her name ended up being Deloris...

 I think you're on to something Jason! He is a sneaky one. I told you in another thread that my brain has just been frazzled this week. Not thinking as clearly.

That episode was hilarious! I love the older Seinfeld episodes! How about Master of my Doman? Some people haven't even heard of that one ;) , and it is hilarious. Can't forget Elaine's dancing episode, and Seinfeld's puffy pirate shirt.

P.S. I'm getting ready to call Capital Scuba (quarry shop) and see what the quarry is like this week.

Hmmm. The acronym MIGHT be useful!!! Does this include divers in the variety and abundance - or just natural sea life????

Of course, Kev, you could limit the scope of the research project and just look at the variety of indigenous clams we have here??

Let's see - If we all chip in $100 (Mel - you gotta put in $150 - cause its easier for women...) the pot would be...

I too love Seinfield - I remind myself of George a lot....

Chip in for what, and why is it easier for women????? I say we give him a tour of the lovely quarry and Kevin, I promise not to lose you in the thick green water. Just thinking about the quarry gets you all excited, doesn't it?

I remind myself of Elaine. Especially during the dancing episode! :05: LOL! Just kidding on the herky-jerky dancing. I'm quite a good dancer, but it was a funny thought. Maybe Saturday night if you guys are going to be around Raleigh after your drysuit class we could meet up and go out later that night. I'll even do the Elaine dance moves for ya. I have a friend's birthday party to attend but some of us will be going out later.
