I know it's not near the ocean but I was wondering if anyone knows of any diving spots near Asheville? :06:
I'm headed that way later this month for business and always try to combine business with pleasure...

Thanks in advance,

Lake Jocassee in SC is the usual "area" dive (although it's over an hour away). The offthewall webpage mentioned above has a good summary of what is available there. You can shore dive some of the sites, but a boat is required to do the Junk or the Graveyard. Feel free to PM me with any questions about the dive or about Asheville.

Never tried them myself, but I hear great things about these operators and their dive sites. http://www.offthewalldiving.com/

Hi! I don't know how to link you to a thread, but if you will search under "Jocassee" or find other threads I have posted to by searching under "Jocasseegirl," you will find lots of information about Lake Jocassee and Off the Wall Diving.
