Hi! We leave on Saturday for the Belle Amie Whale Sharks/Sea of Cortez trip.
How was your trip? I'm particularly interested in visibility and water temperature. My wife and I did a similar trip with the Rocio del Mar about a decade ago, heading out again at the end of this month.

Personally, I think that's overkill. Aren't pelicans heavy? I stick everything I can into one large hardcase suitcase (almost 2 sets of gear) and the balance shares space with my carryon with my clothes.

My wife, well, she travels with her own 50# suitcase... Yeah I got one of those, but I trained her become a good diver and to drive the ski boat through a slalom course better than most of the guys in our community... 😂
Probably overkill, but it is what I have and have used for a long time. They don't wear out and even the most determined baggage handler is unlikely to do much damage. My cases are orange and yellow, depending on which one. I have only seen a similar case once, and it was another diver's. Go figure.

I sure know about wife baggage weight. She doesn't go in water at all. It would be great to shae this with her, but she isn't interested. Can't have everything.
