If you've only got a CMC, you flip. Nice.
If you've got a CMC and a WWL-1, or just a WWL-1, then you bayonet.
I have the Nauticam Bayonet dock mounted on one of my arms (closest to the housing) for the WWL-1, and on the clamp between the two arms on the other side for the CMC.
it is not perfect, but it works.
Bayoneting is much better than screwing, if you get what I mean.

Also I don't really have the choice of a bayonett, as I have a INON 165 macro lens, not a CMC...

Won't the INON just screw into the bayonet mount?

Apparently not... I don't have this system as of yet, I am waiting for it to arrive from my friend who I purchased it from but from my discussions with Ocean Optical and Reef Photo, only the CMC lens is compatible with the bayonett click mounting system. If you have an INON or Subsee macro lens, you need to use the flip adapter (which I have coming also and which I used on my old system)... but what this means is that I can't eventually use my INON macro lens and the WL-1 at the same time as my macro would be on the flip and it's not advised to put the WL-1 on a flip.

If there is some way that you are aware of the INON screwing into the bayonet mount, please let me know - it's 67mm threads. I don't have the bayonet, so like I mentioned... just going off of what I've been told.

Nauticam Bayonet Mount Adapter for SMC/CMC

Will work with other 67mm threaded wet lenses.

Agreed with the WWL1 thing...I would def not put the WWL1 on a flip adapter. Way too heavy.

Geeze now I am confused, what would this be used for James? To go on the front of a flip so that a INON lens didn't have to be unscrewed, could just be taken off via the bayonet click/click then? If its on a flip, no real need to take it off anyway... so I am not sure of the purpose of this adapter then?

Would it be to go on the housing if you didn't HAVE a flip? Then you could use, for example a INON 165 67mm macro lens (no flip), take the macro lens off and then put the WWL1 on, so just going from macro to WA, and then with BOTH lenses removed, having access to the mid range? So you'd just need two mounting holders on your arms for both lenses then... yes this is me thinking aloud - is this correct?

Yes.
A bayonet receiver goes on the front of your port. The bayonet adapter goes on the back of the WWL-1 and the CMC. You have two bayonet docks on your arms. So if you are using the WWL-1 or the CMC/INON, it bayonets to the port; if not using a wet lens, it stays in the dock.

Strongly suggest you call Reef Photo and discuss this with them. They are the experts on the Nauticam stuff.

Thanks for the info James and Tursiops, I am going with the flip and my INON macro lens right now for the time being as that is what I have and if I do eventually want to go with a wet WA lens, I can now consider it an option to go the WWL-1 with the adapter, which is good news - didn't think it was an option if I wanted to keep using my INON macro lens (thought I'd have to swap it for a Nauticam one, which I don't really want to swap macro lenses just to use a WA lens). It's been a good learning day - I am not ready to move into WA yet anyway though as I am just buying the camera, housing and 12-50 lens/port/gear currently and it will do for now. Thanks everyone!
