Anybody have any experience with this combination? If so, any pictures you would be willing to share? I have the 12-50mm for my EM-1, which I really like for it's versatility. I got some great results on my trip to Curacao earlier in the year. I just bought a CMC, but I can't seem to find much info on that combination. From the research I have done, it seems the best matched lens for the CMC is the 60mm macro, but I am wondering if the difference is enough to justify the cost to buy the lens, port and gear before my up-coming trip to Fiji. It would be nice not to have to spend the extra money right now, but I am willing to if I would see significantly better results because I would also hate to get to Fiji and and wish I had went for the full macro setup.
thanks for any help you can provide.

Short working distance is going to be the case with most wet macro lenses....it's true with my Nauticam SMC (especially with the multiplier) and was true with the Subsee +10 I used previously.

I've used the Nauticam CMC in combo with the 12-50 mm lens for a couple of years. Click on the link below for lots of pictures. You will need to have the Nauticam port that allows you to switch to macro mode with the lens. I have the flip adapter so I can easily switch to the CMC if I want higher magnification.

I'm actually using the bayonet adapter on the port and the CMC because I also have a WWL-1 that is used during the dive. I used to have the CMC on a flip adapter prior to getting the WWL-1, but now it is a bit slower to switch to the CMC.

Thanks for the great responses, and incredible pictures. I feel way more at ease with sticking with my 12-50 with the CMC. The pictures in the albums posted were awesome, thanks for posting them. More advice and/or photos are always welcome.

How do you like the WWL-1 with the 12-50? Buddy of mine has the 12-50 and an E-M5.

I love the WWL-1. I can zoom out to about 16mm before I get any vignetting. Crisp to the edges, and you can zoom right through it so you are not stuck with wide angle while it is mounted. It is big and heavy on the con side.

Hi there, I have a question about your set-up as it's exactly the type of rig that I am working on setting up. Do you carry both your CMC and the WWL-1 on the same dive? Would you mind posting a picture of your camera? I have a flip for my macro but just learned of the bayonett option and I'm wondering if that might be better... but with the WWL-1 being so heavy, do you just store your macro lens on an arm during the dive and then do what... with the WA when you're shooting macro?

Bayonet is much better, IMO... threading them on and off sucks.
