I have not seen a crossbar for the above (I have the same housing & flexitray) setup. Perhaps a lanyard across the two handles would help?

I heard that the nauticam balls will chip rather easy? is this true?

I haven't encountered any chipping but relatively light user, except for dive trips.

Another consideration is that the thread sizes for mounting balls and other parts direct to the housing may have a different thread size. I had this problem when mounting an old ball from ULCS to my new Nauticam housing. The ULCS stuff is top rate but some thread sizes may not match. Other brand housings may have the same problems with thread size using Nauticam balls so be sure to check before attaching things direct to the housing.
