Hi All,
I know there a few NAUI Instructors in this group and I wanted to make sure they are aware of a NAUI Instructor update that will be at Beneath the Sea on Friday evening starting at 7 PM.

It will be held inside the exhibit hall in rooms MEC 3 & 4. Angelo Fiore will start with a “State of NAUI” address and handle questions.

Following will be Tim O’Leary, of NAUI Tec, who will present NAUI RGBM tables for recreational and technical use and the validation of these tables. Also on hand will be NAUI Technical Workshop Directors, Chris Laughrey and Ron Scorese (CCR).

This will be an exciting opportunity to see what NAUI holds for the today and the future and to talk with some of the prominent folks in person. Also, Tim and Chris will be in the NAUI booth (304) during the weekend to handle questions about NAUI Tec, RGBM, etc.

Hope to see you there,

Thanks Jeff for the information. Unfortunately I will be in Las Vegas at this time. The nature of my business makes planning for things like this difficult. Please keep us posted.

Is this open to only NAUI instructors? Im interested in the "validation" of NAUI's RGBM for technical use.

Hi Bill,
too bad you can't make it, lots of good info. For example, you can now do NAUI students registrations on line via the web! I will have the RGBM presentation and can get folks caught up if they can't make BTS. Try to at least stop by the NAUI booth if you are there at all during the weekend, botth #304.

Regarding validation of NAUI RGBM for tech and deco diving; these tables have been validated for 15 years now and they work. Chris Laughrey,NAUI Technical Workshop Director, will be in the NAUI booth if you would like to talk to someone who is a local wreck diver and using & teaching these tables.
