NAUI Advanced course...

I am certified through PADI ‘s open watercourse and was interested in hopefully taking an advance course. My question is, Can I take the NAUI advanced course being certified through PADI or do I have to take the basic NAUI course to get the advanced course?

A certified diver can take NAUI's advanced course without taking their openwater course.

I took the PADI OW and advanced courses but switched to NAUI for Rescue, Nitrox, & Master Diver.

You can switch agencies at almost any level. There are a few exceptions.

Yep ... I went thru YMCA for OW, AOW, and SLAM (rescue), then switched to NAUI for Master Diver, DM, and Instructor. Also did some specialties with TDI and SSI.

You don't really have to "cross-over" until you reach the professional level ...
