Nassau Bahamas or Lombok ( Indonesia )

I'm scoring rentals for July and have the possibility to stay in Nassau(Bahamas) or Lombok ( Indonesia ).
I live in Porugal and already know some Caribbean islands but never visited the asia.
Lombok is worth the distance of several flight hours?

I travel with my family .

To me if you have the chance to visit SE Asia or somewhere further afoot, do it while you can. Never know how development or things will change. To me, Nassau will always be Nassau. But Lombok will not be Lombok forever. If you can handle the long travel with a family, then go for it. If you want easy, go to Nassau.
