Uncle Pug:
Even little ones deserve a name.
Looks alot like my boat.
Mine is a WAHOO 17' trihull with rails and we even have the same trailer.
And I thought we didn't have anything in common Pug.
Good luck with the boat.
What are you useing for a ladder to get back in?
Fred

I haven't settled on anything yet... I was thinking along the lines of a ladder hooked over the side between the rails. My son offered to weld one up out of aluminum. I could also have him make a T ladder that slips into a fitting mounted on the gunnel. What do you use on the Wahoo?

I'm still thinking about how I want to arrange tanks as well. I also want to put some kind of cushion floor covering on the deck.

I haven't decided yet. That's why I was asking. I think I'm going to go with the T ladder off the back. I think I'll have to remove the gear and clip it off on the side exit the water the pull the gear up. That way the ladder won't have to be so heavy duty. As for the floor I used indoor outdoor carpeting and glued it down. I'm going to mount the tanks on the railing to a 2x4 held in place with some brackets. What you think.

Looks like you have a bolster for the helm, so that you can stand in rough water and allow your knees to take the abuse. I have a 24' Zodiac that I have outfitted with a product called Skydex from Zodiac. You place this on the deck behind the helm. Double it up and it's very plush on the feet. Expensive, but if you have to drive in rough seas for a bit, your body will thank you.

Stern ladder with a 90hp fourstroke seems like too much back there... though I had planned on using tag lines for the gear and pulling it up later. We've done that with all our other boats; even Uncle Pug before we put the swim grid and ladder on it.

For tanks I did find this website:
