I am planning to have my old alums stripped of paint and was wondering if there is a way to get them to stay looking as good as when they are stripped???

May I suggest you do a search on this board on the topic of stripping the paint off the tanks. There has been some discussion about various ways of doing it, some good, some that will cause problems for you. Just keep in mind that the tank is under extream pressure when filled and the strenght of the metal often comes from it temper which can be altered by heat.

I am going to have them bead blasted and was just wanting a way to keep the plain alum look which is not covered.
