The NACD’s website has a new look and a new address. The former address will route you to the new site or you can go to www.nacdmembers.com. While we have a new look, we have tried to maintain much of the information that was on our previous website. We skimmed down a bit, combined some pages, and limited our main pages to the ones you see on the navigation bar at the top of the page. Check it out.
Also, our online store has been updated so you will have to register and create a new account. We are having an introductory sale to celebrate the launching of our new websites. Through the end of June 2013 almost all products in our online store are 10% off the regular price including the Annual Seminar in October. Visit the store and place your orders while you can!
At the 2012 Annual seminar, there was discussion on a possible NACD Members forum. Well, it is up and running. You can access it through the NACD website. You do not have to be a member to join the forum but membership is required to access the members’ area. This forum will be used for all official NACD communications; however, we will still post information on various events, clean-ups, etc on this forum. This will also be where all NACD members go to maintain your NACD membership. Instructions for doing that are on the forum.
The NACD membership has asked for more communication and information from the BOD. One way to do this is through the “Questions for BOD,” one of the members forums. If you have any questions on any topic for the BOD, post it in this forum. Our intent is for a BOD member to respond within 24 to 48 hours. There is also a "Communication from the BOD" forum that will be used for communication purposes.
If you have any questions or suggestions please let us know. This is your website, your forum, and your organization, and we want you to take advantage of it.
