N2iTion3 ascent rate indicator

Can anyone advise what the ascent rate indicator on the N2iTion3 display looks like?
The manual simply states, "Shows current ascent rate during the dive", but it does not say how it is displayed!? Is it a flashing "slow" indicator if you exceed the safe rate or is it graphical as are the OLI and N2 indicators?
