I'm a Fish!
...from my closet, that is!

It needed to be done. I have been pulling apart my closet to find the receipt for my Oly - it, of course, is not filed with the 2 million other receipts for every other thing I have ever owned - and finding the most interesting things.

Cassettes. Who knew I still had these gems: Rick Astley's "Free" - I don't even recognize any of the songs; Thompson Twins; Bourgeois Tagg; Billy Idol; Huey's "Sports"; Culture Club; Air Supply...oh my god :11:

What retro stuff have you found in recent or not so recent clean-ups? (I still win because I dragged all of this across the globe at LEAST twice :icorolley )

Oh yeah, no receipt yet...

Treasure hunt!

I found a letter from a former boy friend....read it, think about throwing it away...and then hide it to find it again a few years later :bawling:

LOL...a couple of years ago, on one of my trips home, I found a whole stack of letters, notes, dried flowers etc from a boy to me. I have no idea who this person is :06: I do not remember him nor having a relationship with him. No last name on the stuff (duh). I dumped them, but kinda wish I would have kept at least one and asked some of my other classmates. Talk about blocking!!

A few years ago I came across my very first set of Jet FIns, that I bought from Hal Watts back in 1969. ;) They were too small! Go figure!

didn't even check an old year book?

I recovered some love letters from my great grandfather to my great grandmother....

too bad I cannot understand them... they are in Judeo-Turkish...... I can only understand that when I grandma speaks it to me, but still... I have them framed.

No year book to be found on that hunt...now that I know where the year book is, I have no stuff!

But I just can't believe I've lost all memory of this person - there was months of stuff! Brain farts for sure on that...

I wish I could do that with the memory of some people...past and recent....
