Been using this Box as a regular Travel "Suitcase" for over 20 years. Manufacturer Zarges-Germany. Material Aluminum. They cost about 200. USD. The dimentions on my Box make her IATA compliant which is 62"maxtotal (lenght-hight-with). Aprox inside meassurements, With 13.5, Hight 12, Lenght 28.3/4 Total weight empty about 11lbs. has 2 functional Locks and provision to attach a custom Seal.
The Box is sturdy, easy recognizable, open the lid and you see everything without searching, you can sit on the Box on the Beach, no Sand/ Insects/Rotents can get into it when closed and you can fill it with fresh water to soak your gear after being in saltwater. I leave the Box overnight secured on Deck as she has a seal under the lid making her Spraywater resistand.
