I can speak very highly from my experience with BoatUS. In NJ, in order to get your boating license (to operate in freshwater or within 5 miles of the shore) you need a boating safety certificate. BoatUS gave a great program in 8 hours, and I walked away missing only one question on the test because I didn't read it carefully.

It's a really well done course, I think I'll take it again as a refresher!
