Wow lets see...harbor seal, black sea bass, underwater scooters,....looks like a heck of a day diving, wish I would have been there!!

A bit unusual to see giant sea bass this late in the season. Where were you diving. Loved the harbor seal... I don't get many opportunities to film them, although I did find one sleeping under an overhang at Middle (Isthmus) Reef one day.

we saw him on the edge of the kelp forest at indian rock

he didnt want to stick around though, he was probably spooked from the sounds of our scooters, they are pretty loud underwater

Interesting... I've never seen one there, but I'm sure they can be. Usually they've gone deep by now, and that is a shallow water site. Aren't they incredible!

been diving for 4 years and i decided i want to get into videography

went out on sunday the 16th and shot this film with the reef master mini

a typical day diving catalina(video)

i know its not the best quality compared to all of you other guys, but its all i have until i get my HD set up

so tell me what u guys think, thanks

Go get your HD setup now! Although the video quality isn't great on those little cameras, you have all the skills needed to become a great underwater videographer - slow movements with camera, editing out the crap and focusing on what is interesting, etc. You are ready...:D

Considering the camera? Pretty good. You have the content and the skills. Now all you need is a decent video outfit with a green filter- and lots and lots of practice. The practice is the fun part.
