My first solo dive

Today I did my first solo diving at ocean. It was really nice & smooth.
I choose familia site (before I dove there 8 times).

With Al80 main tank & Al30 (sling) for backup.
Max depth was 30m deep & 55min dive time.

The end of dive I did some practice.

* close main tank valve -> final exhale with my primary reg -> open backup gas valve -> change reg.
* mask removal & replacement with backup mask.
* don/doff bc.
* launching SMB.

I took many ideas & learn many things from here.
I really want to say Thank you guys here on SB.
(Sorry for my bad english).

It sounds like a great day and that you prepared yourself well! It's nice to hear the details of your accomplishment.

Did you experience any nervousness or surprises at all?

Surprising my air consumption was much better then last dive.
Last time I finish 40min dive with 30bar at same site, almost same path & depth (with DM & insta buddys).
Today I went out with 70 bar (55 min)!

I think I was nervous few minutes but after that more relax & calm.
I could relax because I don't have to look around buddy all the time & where they are heading.

Now I have fixed buddy (30cf ponny) on my left hand.
