Did another night dive last night at Stonington. I saw so many dang lobster that I just had to catch one, two or five! There were a lot of smalls but I managed to catch several keepers. Granted I did not have a license or a catch bag so I let them go (It is fun to rocket them into people!). Although now I am addicted....I am going to get my CT lic. so I can catch dinner after I get back from Mexico. :D

Contrats on your lobster adventure! Sure hope you have a big lobster bake for all of us NELDs without liscenses! Yummy - love lobbys!

Have fun, but remember it'll be harder to catch them during daylight hours (when it's legal).

I did some research for CT and I can't find where it is illegal to lobster at night in CT.... I found the 1/2 hour before and after for tending Pots but nothing for divers.... just the 3 1/4" .....(I didn't even find a limit..)

Rules and reg...

Here is the page that I am using for ref.

There is a price for non-residential commerical lic. but I do not see where it prohibits non-residents from obtaining a non-commercial lic. SO final answer.... I dunno?
