SwimswithSharks - ... I have a feeling many of you will be seeing some brown/green photo of the local quarry once my drysuit arrives.

My first shots were from our local lake as well. It is a great way to get used to your set-up and try different things when you aren't afraid of missing that "great" vacation shot. Dee helped me understand that.
 
Yep.....I've learned alot shooting in our local greeny water. I seldom keep any of them but the lessons have been many. Besides, with only one trip to clear water last year, it was that or nothing!

You need to post some of those Greeny ones so I can feel better about myself :D .
 
And just dont save them on your hard drive !!! Mine crashed and I lost all the stuff I had. At least I had dropped them to disc first!! If not I would have to go back and do it all over again....
