Just thought I'd show my favorite little shallow solo spot (dived today). Kind of a narrow finger-type lake in the middle of the woods. Air temp. 30 degrees, water temp 37. Its tiny, but hey: any diving is better than no diving. The vis was great. 7mm drysuit was toasty.

Happy Holidays

I know...believe me...
But its pretty!

It is a Linton Lake, isn't it? You became a brave man to dive in this weather condition. Does it mean you overcome the coldness barrier?

Bottom temp 72, air temp 55, and I was complaining. Shut my mouth, and smack grandma, as my buddy for the day might say.

Wetsuit or drysuit?

I think he was dry

Well perhaps the only saving grace of it being so cold is that it cuts down the number of divers at the site :)

Hi Hoosier:

Yes, I've finally found a dry setup that keeps me warm. But I think it will take a lot more time for me to become an accomplished diver such as yourself. This is not a Linton lake but looks similar.. Thought I'd share the image because it was kind of exciting to arrive with the snow and have this emerald pool waiting.
