Hi to you all!!:D

I just arrived back from a trip from the Kruger National Park, South Africa and want to know if I'm allowed to post my photos here on the Non-Diving related Stuff Forum about lions, wild dogs, etc etc. I didn't do any diving there... the viz was terrible and the crocs and hippos were not scuba diving friendly at all! :rofl3::rofl3:

I have used my new SAMSUNG camera. It has a 5X zoom, face detection, image stabilization and it I have bought it for a whopping $150!! All I need now is a water proof housing for this great camera to take it down.

Please let me know.

Hi carobinsoniv, I shall post them with pleasure!!

We usually visit the Kruger National Park (KNP), South Africa once or twice per year. I've been going to the KNP for the past 40 years... we are crazy about the bush and wildlife in general. My late father was a State veterinarian many years ago and he had to work on a regular basis in the Kruger Park. When we were still at school my brother and I escorted him on numerous occasions on such trips.

During the years I have taken many photos in Kruger using normal low tech film cameras. The Samsung I have bought is also a low tech camera but at least it's digital and has a video function as well. Now it's easy to upload photos. I'm still saving for that high tech underwater camera!!

In any case here is my brief trip report:

We stayed in Skukuza camp, Kruger Park, from 7 January 2009 for 4 nights. It was a short break. Usually we are on vacation in KNP from 7 to 10 nights.

In the park and on our way to Skukuza we came upon 2 lionesses with 8 cubs.

Thanks Sandy, the quality is not good but it will give you an indication what to expect on your safari in Africa!
