Had the first day of my advanced open water dives today. We did UW Navigation and peak performance out at Breakwater in Monterey. It was definitely good times. The vis was really poor, but that made for a great cert day. It was amazing to come back to the same place we started. Really learned to trust my compass. If the weather doesn't take a turn for the worse, we'll go out in the morning to do our deep and boat dives. Then tomorrow night we'll do our night dive. I'm really loving being in the water.
Anywho, Breakwater was surgey and murky. If you guys want an epic dive, don't go there.
