Didn't look too bad other than a bit of nose breathing bubbles.

All caught on tape.

YouTube - CCR Dive

Watching video and looking at pics of yourself while diving can reveal a lot about your setup..as far as what you think it looks like and what it actually looks like.

:D

I really wanted to have video of my first CCR dive as well, mostly to give myself a base of comparison down the road. It's fun seeing improvement, and seeing where improvement is needed. Though I agree with Dave - Ya' look good in that clip.

Aloha, Tim

Hey Tim,

It was a bit nerve wracking the first 10 minutes or so, but I felt fine and was gauge watching very closely. I kept looking at my no stop time and shaking my head in disbelief.

I know what you mean - my last CCR dive was on a small wreck between 60-70fsw and every time I'd get up to 58fsw my computer would read 99 minutes available. Everyone else had to go up because of loading from the first dive ... just meant I got the job of unhooking us - well worth it for the extra BT :)

Now if my unit would just get built and shipped I'd get back to some of those nice long BT's :)

Yeah, I think a lot of people are going to be watching how that all plays out. I couldn't wait any longer, I wanted the AP unit for a long time anyways. It makes sense for me.

But, the APOC will be interesting.

Have you seen one in the water yet?

No I haven't...just the pics etc. Looks real streamlined, the BMCL's with a very low WOB. Poor Alex is getting hammered by impatient customers. These are the same people who want it now and then will complain when there are imperfections.

Actually most of the complaints are coming from non-customers - lol. Many of the customers are complaining about their complaining ;)

I figure it will be possible to see one in late May or early June ... right before I'm too busy to actually do any diving for a couple of months :(

Aloha, Tim
