Hey how do you guys get music underwater Ipod? anyone have links where i can look into that be nice to have when i start tech diving next year for the long deco waits..

Chris

The music we listen to under water is the sound of the air rushing through our regulators and escaping as bubbles.

the Kraken

Or the sounds of boats going overhead. :D

I wouldn't because I could miss out on a warning beep from a compy, or my buddy.

Dive safe!

Hmmm, I think Steve Zissou might have an answer on this... :D

I tend to agree with this I was thinking about getting a case for my MP3 player but after some thinking I opted against one for the same reasons as above. Plus not to mention that there is something to be said about the "silence" I dont go underwater to be reminded of topside.

I think all the ipod cases are only waterproof to ten feet. I don't think that will help much. I couldn't find any info on cases that went deeper.

The I-Pod housings that we carry from H20dyssey are only water proof to ten feet. Obviously not enough for any diver. They are very well made for swimmers though. Oceanic does make an underwater MP3 player, or did make I do not know if they still do, that you may want to look into.

As far as I know, there are no iPod cases for deep water... I use an Otterbox any time I am backpacking, or near water anywhere... it is pretty tough.

There was a link given earlier that was for an h20 Audio one, check the DV series. From what I understand, the headphones are set up to use your skull to transmit the music.

I am not sure I would ever use it for fun diving... but if I was working underwater (say cleaning boat bottoms) then it might be something cool.
