Anyone going to be at Mt. Storm lake diving this weekend. It sounds like the powerplant is only running @ 50% so the water wont be as warm as usual but will still be warmer then most lakes in the area at this time. I dove Deep Creek last night and at 21' (the max depth I hit since they dropped the lake) it was 46 degrees.

I am planning a trip to Mt. Storm next weekend, so any update on conditions would be appreciated.

Hey Guys,

I dove today, viz was pretty bad above 50' since there were tons of students there. Water temp was 64 degrees and below 50' things weren't too bad 15'+ viz if you were willing to dive deep.

Emc,

Last winter we dove storm in December and it was 65-68 and then again in Feb. and it was still about 61-62. I didn't see it dip much below 60 all winter long.
