My company had a very good year in 2008. As a result they gave us an extra paid holiday on Jan 2nd. I'm definitely heading to Mt Storm unless there's several feet of snow. I have 4wd so if I can get up the mountain and in the parking lot I'm going diving. Anyone else up for it?

Too cold for me. There's currently snow up there and probably will continue to be. :laughsnow:

I gotta imagine around 60 at the surface...maybe colder if they have had snow, but I have rarely seen it below 58-60. Post up when you get back!

Lowest I've seen at Storm was 46 in the water. That was 3 years ago on new years day. Coldest air temp I've seen when diving there was 22, water that day was a balmy 53 on Good Friday 2 years ago.

BRRRRR!!! :coffee:

emcbride, aren't we due for another FL Keys dive in January?

We're going to Florida (Ginnie Springs, Blue Grotto, and West Palm) in February. I think Mocepts is coming - Come on along!
