Looking for the dive version MS-2000M strobe light. It took place of the SDU-5/E model I believe, and the dive model is good to 200M. Correct me if I am wrong. I can't find the diver version anywhere on the internet. Anyone know where to get one?

Hi there, I was surfing the web looking for some equipment and saw your plea for help so I signed up to see if I could be of assistance. It will be difficult for you to obtain the "True" MS-2000 you can in fact purchase a mil-spec light of the same quality at "http://www.actiongear.com/cgi-bin/tame.exe/agcatalog/level4s.tam?xax=1357&M5COPY%2Ectx=25956&M5%2Ectx=3088&M2%5FDESC%2Ectx=Flashlights%2C%20Headlamps%2C%20Lights&level3%2Ectx=results%2Etam&query%2Ectx=MS%2D2000%20strobe%20light&backto=%2Fagcatalog%2Fresults%2Etam"
Copy and paste this direct link and you'll find what you're looking for in the military version. Take note make sure you lubricate the seal if not you'll compromise the light causing it to leak. There are some other lights out there made by the same manufacturer as the military version (SDU/5E&MS-2000) by ACR which you can browse their products at "www.acrelectronics.com" Take note the civilian products are in fact the same they don't come with the IR function which is an infra-red lense used for spotting with night vision but they are the same strobe light. My suggestions depending upon what you're going to use it for would be the ACR Firefly-2 ranging in price from $60-up. It's coast guard approved safety strobe (same light as MS-2000) a safety orange, if you drop it under water it makes it highly visible unlike the military edition the MS-2000 which is an Olive Drab Green, and it's good for 200ft+. Like I suggested though, check out ACR's website. If you need any further assistance and purchasing one at a reasonable price, get in contact with me and I can help you out. Hopefully this helps you.
Have a good one and Safe Diving and never give up!!
