Seems like I will be making the move home to NC in the next month or so. Would like to continue diving - but am unsure of the lay of the land in NC as I have only dove Florida and California. Will be sans buddy upon my return, unfortunately.

(PS: This is a cross-post from the NC Wreck Divers - sorry for an annoyance)

I am not looking for a home, just for dive buddies... well, and a job I suppose. Thanks though (I think) !

Where in NC?

sarita75:
Raleigh Durham area.

That's a fun area. I can only help you out with Asheville.

Asheville is nice, very scenic. I grew up (ages 12-25) in Raleigh so it isn't a mystery the area. Just going to be a change, that's all. Too many of them right now.

There is a bunch of us in the RDU area and a couple of active LSD clubs. Drop me a PM when you get back in town and I can give you more info. Welcome back.

Thanks Herman. I have never dove in NC, so it would be nice to meet some friendly diving faces!

Plenty of nice people in NC. Several dive shops to choose from in the Raleigh area. You can always go on the quarry dives. Yeah, I know, it's a quarry, but it's a great way to make new friends. PM Herman, he's a friend and will give you good info. Welcome home.
