I just bought a used Motor Marine II camera with the YS 50 strobe. I've been playing around with it but I can't get the strobe to go off. It goes off when I plug it into the camera but when I depress the shutter button nothing happens either with the external strobe or the one actually on the camera. I put a roll of film in it last night and still no strobe. Please forgive me if this is a stupid question but I'm new to this camera and underwater photography in general. I do not have the instructions so I can't read through it for help. The camera seems to work fine and I put new batteries in the strobe and camera. The light on the strobe comes on and I've tried it in the On position as well as the TTL position.

Thanks for all of your help!

Scott
