I found a suunto mosquito for $380USD with the computer link, is this a good deal? If not are there any places i can get it cheaper?

If you don't mind buying over the internet, DiveInn.com has it for about US$100 less.

Edit: whoops, didn't see that the price was for the computer interface, too. Probably not a bad deal, then.

not a bad buy....it is a great computer...diveinn has the best $$...but all instructions are in spanish...you have to request a copy of english(copier copy)...with the interfact about $90...plus about 25 shipping....so there ya go....

Finally made my decision to purchase this morning - went with the Mosquito over the Stinger. Couldn't justify the extra $$ for limited increase in functionality and cosmetics. Lots of great information on the Internet helped in my decision, including this board. Some of my considerations were cost, user-replaceable battery, and my personal frequency of diving.

Purchased from Princeton Watches (http://www.princetonwatches.com/shop/Mosquito.asp) for $395.00, which included the PC interface and UPS ground shipping. Also, Princeton is an authorized reseller (direct from Suunto), with support provided by Aqua Lung. Thought about buying off of eBay, but thought the extra $$ were worth it for the support, and realistically, the $$ weren't that much different when you consider the inclusion of the PC interface and shipping.

i also got the mosquito from princeton watches. Thanks for all the help guys. I had recieved the mosquito as a christmas present and it flooded on the first dive, so i brought it back and exchanged it for a Data Max Pro Plus from oceanic, it only cost like 200 more and was air integrated, then a couple of weeks ago i decided i needed a back-up in the case that my computer died and i liked the mosquito while it worked so i bought the cheepest one i could find.
