Me and my dad drove from Mobile, Al to dive at Morrisons but arrived to see the gate locked. We got there at 8:30. Anyone know why?
 
Perhaps because the Choctawhatchee River is near action stage.
 
Only reason they usually close Morrison is if water tests reveal bacteria levels are to high...but usually they post a sign. I suspect whoever was supposed to unlock the gate was running late. Unless there is a closed sign for some reason, you can just park in the outer parking lot and walk in.
