Morehead advice

I am heading down to Morehead City this weekend... going with 2 dive buddies... staying at the Hampton Inn, diving with Diver Down...

Any particular restaurants to head for/avoid? Anything in particular I need to know? I know this is pretty broad but figured I would see what came up that wasn't thinking of...

You can't go wrong diving with Bobby.. I am sure you will have a great time! Save some sharks for us, we head back down Labor Day weekend..

Yup... I checked the weather and it looks like Danielle will not affect us this weekend. Earl is lurking but does not seem to be any major threat, even in terms of generating waves. Guess we can keep hoping!! Weather.com is calling for scattered t-storms but I can live with those!

there's a nice place in beaufort on the water that is nice but i cant think of the name good food but they were slow, even though not busy....in atlantic beach there's a seafood buffett on the oceanside about 10 miles from morehead city, crummy little dive ,,,,but very good! cant go wrong with the resturants down there!
let me know how the diving is there im planning on going back there in nov. to visit my bro-in-law

I think the seafood place on the water in Beaufort is Capt. Bills. We ate there 2 wks ago & they were slow ( but not terribly ) & food was excellent.There is a place next to it called Fins that we will probably eat at on the 28th before going out with Discovery.

Not sure... I am in the process of moving to MIami so I am not sure what I will be up to next Oct!! I also want to talk to them about the technical level of the dives they are going to be planning. Moving to doubles is the next step for me and I am planning to do it this year or early next, but I don't want to be the only one on a trip not diving triox or 6 stage bottles or something!!
