Brittle "Sea Star" ... they're not fish. ;-)
Brittle star. They are not fish and they are not starfish. They are related to starfish.

Yes and today Pluto isn't a planet and telling kids to sit Indian style is frowned upon... It's a starfish. :nyah: Both terms are interchangeable. Search starfish on the internet and you shall see.

Pluto sure as hell looks like a planet to me...

Sigh. It seems to give you pleasure to call something what it is not. The fact that the internet says something is hardly compelling! The internet says EVERYTHING if you wish to look for it. By the way, there are no jellyfish either.

Added:
The old name jellyfish is now a sea jelly.
It is going to take a LONG time for this to catch on!

If Pluto was around another star it would be a planet. Just some folks who could not deal with the neighborhood becoming over run with planets so they cooked up a definition, valid only in our solar system, to keep all those unruly Kuiper belt folks out.

Sea Jelly?

Next you'll be telling us a seahorse is not really a horse.
