As of September 3rd American Airlines will cut service to Curacao from Miami by fifty percent. The morning flight from Miami will be cut as will the afternoon flight from Curacao. This will impact not only Curacao tourism but will make it impossible to connect to DiviDivi to get to Bonaire as the flight from Miami will be arriving after 8pm.

Absolutely unbelievable! We just purchased our tickets for Jan. I am scared to book anything else until I know for sure we will be able to get there.

Reefdiva....

DAE (Dutch Antilles Express) flies out of Curacao to Bonaire until midnight. Those that do make it on American to Curacao can connect with them. They now accept reservations on line at DAE - Book your flight to Aruba, Bogota, Bonaire, Caracas, Curacao, Santo Domingo, St. Maarten, Valencia - Dutch Antilles Express - Book your flight to Aruba, Bogota, Bonaire, Caracas, Curacao, Santo Domingo, St. Maarten, Valencia - Dutch Antilles Ex

Believe you me, that we are NOT happy about American's decisions, but understand them, sort of. Curacao and Bonaire are the best money makers (from what we understand) for the market in the Caribbean for American/American Eagle.

Bonaire IS working on getting more direct flights from the US as I'm writing....
