We are Monkey Dive Lodge, we provide something a little different to the rest of the completion here. We offer a truly local experience, the lodge is built to the same style as the local houses and we have at present 7 rooms which are a mix of doubles, twins and a dorm style room. All rooms are fan only but as we are out on the water there is always a nice sea breeze and also being out on the water there are no Mosquitos.
We are about 15minutes away from Semporna which is the gateway to the islands and mainly used as a transit point by most people when taking the plane from Tawau airport on their way to the islands.
We offer both Diving and Snorkelling packages and we take our guests to 2 of the local islands each day and we do a 3 dive/snorkel day. We also take guests to Bohedulang Island to hike to the view point (this is an easy hike suitable for most people and takes around 20minutes and is 600M long) to take some photos.
he islands we currently visit are Matabuan, Sibuan, Mataking, Timba Timba, Kapalai and Mabul. We can also arrange tickets for the legendary Sipadan Island but that needs to be done in advance due to the requirement to gain a Permit. That said we can put guests names on a list for cancellations should any become available.

This is a macro lovers paradise and on our house reef you can find pipefish seahorses, all kinds of nudibranch, turtles of course are everywhere, scorpion fish, stone fish, octopi, sea snakes, flamboyant cuttle fish and the very shy mandarin fish who live just a short distance to our dock.
Our packages are on a full board basis and include all you need except for airport transfers which we can arrange for you, marine park fee's (normally 10ringit per person) and scuba equipment, but if you should need any we use Cressi kit and its all in excellent condition.
